Fewer resources for education and mentorship weaken the quality and consistency of coaching nationwide. For Canada’s sport future, grassroots and development levels suffer first, shrinking the pool of future national-team athletes. Canada risks falling behind internationally, sport’s role in health, inclusion, and social connection diminished and national pride and community impact eroded”
